Eurocom and ISID manage the intake of content from
DVB-T and Satellite sources for the spanish TV-Show "Se lo que Hicisteis la Última Semana" by Globomedia.

The company Eurocom, leading integrador for the broadcasting sector and DVB-T solutions, together with ISID, Media Asset Management software developer have been awarded to provide the service of recording DVB-T and Satellite signals, manage the recorded content, search and deliver the videos used in the spanish TV-Show “Se lo que hicisteis la última semana”, a production of Globomedia.

Eurocom and ISID have implemented a programmed intake solution for content emitted by DVB-T and Satellite channels, in high quality format (MPEG2). The goal was to provide a solution to display, document, archive and search for video fragments, called "Tops", that form the content and general base for the sketches of each program.

The whole process was realized with Videoma, responsible for the integrated content management for “Se lo que Hicisteis la Última Semana”. Its influence on the workflow begins in the editorial department, where the recordings of a total of 16 television channels are being planned with the "Scheduling Module". The content is being imported and identified easily by users through the default association of every video with meta data: channel, date, time and program. This way the content of the database is always organised and documented.

Using the "Display Video" interface of Videoma, the editors can view everything that is being transmitted in the different national, regional and local channels; choose the video clips of interest or create an EDL (Edit Decision List) with them. Following this step, the material is being sent to the editing director, who, together with the production director, choose the video "Tops" that the screenwriters then parody.

Once the videos have been selected, the Mediatranscoder Module carries out the transcodification to DV25 format and sends the results to the editing and post-production stations to produce the "Pictue in Picture" called, screen fragmentation into different video display zones.

On the other hand, the documentation department using the Administration and Search Module, creates the documented archive used to store images and videos of all requests from either editing or screenwriter groups.

The “Sé lo que Hicisteis la Última Semana” team has been using Videoma in the creation of the program since october, recording more than 80 hours of video data per day, supported by the hardware equipment previously used by the team, without the need of installing new hardware. Together, Eurocom and ISID have been at the front of the project, offering the ideal solucion, the training and after sales service that were necessary for the success of the project.
