Description

MAM
Basic Module for management and use of archive contentment. Main Engine of the Videoma Platform. Controls all processes related to the basic Media Asset management functions: Administration of content, user permission management, ingest, cataloguing, clipping, editing, search of content, etc.

INTAKE Module
Autonomous programming and recording of DVB-T, SATELLITE, ANALOGUE TV, MULTICAST TV and RADIO content or base band.

DIGITALIZADOR ANALÓGICO Module
Digitalization of analogue content from different sources (video camera, television set, VHS, Betacam, CCTV Camera, etc).

TESAURO Module
System for guided documentation, based on a thesaurus defined by the user. With the Thesaurus module, Videoma assigns a Thesaurus to a documentation schema. All videos assigned to this schema will have the Thesaurus assigned to them as well. This functionality simplifies the guided documentation, searchability and usability of the archived content.

PHOTO ARCHIVE Module
Integrated image file management: JPEG, TIFF, GIF. Creation of picture collections, documentation, etc.
Videoma allows the extraction of screenshots from a video, insertion in the image archive and using the screenshot images to navigate to the timecode of the video where the screenshot was extracted. This functionality is very useful for the extraction of images from surgeries, etc, maintaining the reference for identification between images and videos.

AUDIO Módulo
Integrated management of audio files: MP3, MPA, WAV, WMA, AAC. Videoma carries out all management processes from the capturing or ingest until the publication of the audio files.

PRODUCTIONS Module
Module for the management of archived content, generation of scenarios and script drafts and sending the material to emission playout of a Television program.

MEDIATRANSCODER Module
Platform for format conversion. Management of transcodification profile and superprofile that include format, storage location and descriptors. Display of transcodification tasks.

MULTIFORMAT Module
This module permits the simultaneous capture of content in two resolutions.

• Low resolution copy for a quick display of the content from any location on the network.

• High resolution copy as master quality copy that can be used for a professional video editing task or for archiving and conservation. This is being done through the Videoma database, maintaining the different quality video copies related to each other with time code references.

EXTERNAL EDITOR CONNECTION Module
Connection with professional video editing programs like Avid Liquid and Adobe Premiere in both directions.

XML Module
Import and export of information through a XML file (Extensible Markup Language)

LDAP MICROSOFT Module
Connection with LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) by Microsoft. Allows the access to an application protocol for querying and modifying directory services  to search for information (login, password, etc.) in a network.

ORACLE Module
Videoma working under the software engine of an Oracle database.

LEGAL REC Module
24x7 recording of video signal and management of access requests for a specific date and time.

CLUSTER Module
Videoma under a Windows 2003 Server Cluster.
